A set of miniature urns for memorial services and a set of small Buddhist (altar) accessories (vase, incense burner, candle holder, and bell). The urn and the accessories have a unified design and can be stored compactly.

The product was exhibited at the Life Ending Industry EXPO (ENDEX) 2015 held from December 8 to 10, 2015, as a new product of Tomoetogyo Co, Ltd. (a manufacturer of urns in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture). I was entrusted with total planning, design, prototyping, and product concept creation. Currently, the product has been sold in limited quantities by the company. Considering the fact that the product is a handy memorial service tool sold by an urn manufacturer, the design of the urn and the Buddhist altar, which were previously lined up separately, were unified. In addition, with the meaning of proposing a new style of “memorial rituals only when necessary,” I also paid attention to storability.
