The Inami JIZAI body project aims to establish a technological foundation for building a “freeing body (JIZAI body)” that can adapt to the super smart society. Technology development that is positioned as “freeing” is thought to support human beings acting with robots and AIs “unity with human beings” while maintaining sense of self-awareness, and widening the possibility of human actions significantly.

In order to realize the JIZAI body concept, we use assistive robotics, wearable computing, brain information decoding, machine learning, virtual reality, etc. We will establish the design guidelines and elucidation of the fundamental knowledge on “body editing.” Furthermore, we will examine the the mind and society changes on the JIZAI body in real and virtual societies.
